Is this the same one that was shipped with the retail version of counter-strike?

I took a look at it and it does look like it is the one from the retail version of cstrike. I didn't care for that too much. But I didn't get to play it on the internet. Maybe someday I will try it on the net. So far, TFC is the best multiplayer mod for half life.

I sat there and played it.. and realized it not so much different from regular DM ... I mean your always gonna have some llama sitting there hitting people that spawn... just in this.. it'll kill you so ya know its not that bad.. but I'll still stick to DMC over this heh

The 1v1 version of richochet is little more fun than the all out deathmatch. It makes a seperate arena for each pair of players and they play a best out of 5 match. Once everyone has finished their match, the pairs swap up.

Call me crazy, but I actually like Ricochet. It's pretty fun, fast, and simple. However, playing a game in a server with a lot of people sucks, because then you have to wait to fight your next set of battles. But with just a few people it's pretty cool, especially once you get the hang of it.

Oh, but nothign will ever be as cool as TFC. #Smile_colors

but its kinda grown on me

i hate the standard ricoche game -- but i have grown to like the deathmatch lvl

theirs no waiting -- 4/8 ppl playing -- discs flying/re-bounding everywere -- and its fun chasing aftr ppl

just my opinion

tfc is always gona b my fav though
