I will not be playing much for TFC for a long time. Either until one of these things happen:

1. I get DSL/Cable.
2. I go to college.
3. My connection improves greatly.
4. Maybe if I get a new video card.
5. If I miss TFC and Theville.

I am just tired of my connection. It is really choppy/laggy. I have a hard time entering games a lot of the time. It always disconnects. It just
makes playing TFC no fun anymore.

I will still frequent the forums though.

have you tried changeing your rate setting and tweaking a bit with net_graph? or are you on one of the many isp's who oversell their bandwidth.. or do your phone lines just suck and have static in them...

I have run every tweak I could to try to fix this. Everything left has to deal with switching isps or something like that, which my parents won't do since they don't use the internet and don't care.

Borg tell me your sys specs and you might get a gift in the mail from me. I have ALOT I mean ALOT of parts. I shipped Computer some of them for his use.

So let me know. If I have something that will help your sys I will ship it to you no charge.

Interseting set up.

Ok you have a 4mb video card agp x1. If you dont get the upgrade I have a PCI Voodo3 card 16mb that has worked well for me with TFC (it will be faster than your current card). Also if you have any free PCI slots I will send you a PCI nic. They are generic but heck, i have got a bunch. And if yours is on ISA that would help a good deal if you are routing though another comp for your shared internet connection.

Let me know (when I say free no charge for shipping or anything, I just get to kill you with a cb twice lol). I am also trying to think of another option so I will post again soon.

LOL and Computer got all of my PC 133 ram I had left.

DSL runs about $50 a month usually...thats $12.50 a week...find 4 yards to mow...set up a lemonade stand...if you do get DSL I would format the whole system to get rid of every trace of AOL...I have never seen one program slow down a whole system so much...
