Well this is a tech question and not a TFC one.
Anyone know a good program free or not for 2000 pro for monitoring the cpu temp, fan speed etc (p4 running current chipset and asus board that supports these features)?
Second I pulled a DK (aka Moron Move) today. The shortcut in my toolbar that you click and it will minimize everything and show the desktop...um well i deleted it. ANyone know how to get it back?
TY FOR YOU SUPPORT

Do you have sysytem restore?? That should get it back. I'm not to familiar with your OS but with mine go to start/help support/system restore. Not sure if I helped or not but....... _________________

I am running XP Pro , but I think 2000 is similar (I have 2K at work so I can check it if this doesn't work.) The "Show Desktop" is a command that should be in "C:\Documents and Settings\UserName\Application Data\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Quick Launch" folder. Where UserName is the user ID you log on to the PC with of course. If anyone else has signed onto your PC, check in their Documents and Settings\... folder to see if there is one in there.
If that doesn't work I can email you the file from my PC, not sure if the XP one is any different though.
Hope that helps. _________________

You might try this too. Right click your start button and then click Explore All Users. That should take you to the profiles folders. Application Data should be in there.
If I get done d/l the new HL patch, and can RAS into my work I will check out the path for 2K and send it to you.

This is where my desktop thingy is, when I right-click and press properties, this is what it gives me:
C:\Documents and Settings\Application Data\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Quick Launch
Sorry if it doesn't help |
