LOL, Torak. The first thing I did when I got home was DL and install. I did it on purpose to check for issues before installing on the other puters here. If I really want to play, I have 3 other puters at my disposal. There is method to my madness.

BRN, the last time there was an update, many people, including myself encountered problems with the patch. I eventually did a full install which solved all my problems. I decided then and there that I would always do a full install. If the patch works for you... go for it. And, I can DL the full in less time than it takes some people to DL the patch... so, why not?

I typically don't install the patches until I know that the ville is up to date. I will dl them though on my 56k, which only took about 45 min. while I was checking other websites.

Now to install the full update and not the patch, do you have to uninstall and reinstall in order to do it or just install over the existing. I'm not to savvy on stuff like this so any info will be helpful. BTW I downloaded the patch in about 40 secs so I'm not too concerned about the full download. Cable

. I was downloading at about 300+ kb/sec.

Maybe he's a forum rat extraodinaire, and just goes directly to the forums, skipping the front page?

Or his dispaly is at 400x300 so he can't even see that side of the front page?

Nah, I think he's blind, and since the front page isn't braille encoded, he's F'ed.
