Can anyone tell me what Universal AGP is? I have read somethings like it is allow cards to run in both AGP 1.0 compliant(2x) and AGP 2.0 compliant(4x) systems. More info would be greatly appreciated. _________________ I need to make a sig, but I don't have the time. Maybe I will eventually. |

I know what AGP is, but universal AGP is an offset of that and I would like to know more on that. Your links may have had something, but I didn't see it. _________________ I need to make a sig, but I don't have the time. Maybe I will eventually. |

The main reason that I am asking this is because this may mean that i can get a HIGH quality video card that I will be able to take with me when I get a new computer at the beginning of college. I was thinking, if it is universal AGP, getting a Geforce4 Ti 4200. Any thoughts on either of those, Universao AGP or the video card? _________________ I need to make a sig, but I don't have the time. Maybe I will eventually. |

most video cards are backwards compatable pick a card you want and read up on it (most everything with computers is backwards compatable like Ram pc100 can be run on a pc133 board and so on) |
