I don't know who picks out the different songs, but they all kick ass. Thanks for the killer tunes!

That would be Rob.

Yes, it would be nice if we could hear the music some other way. I had Realplayer and it captured everything... loaded all kinds of crap onto my puter that I did not want, even though I specifically clicked the *NO* option when I did a custom install. I refuse to use a product that has such underhanded practices.

Is there a "clean" version of Real Player anywhere?

Do a real plyr install expert level. Let it add no software nor take over any other file types.

It takes about 20 steps, but then that bs software wont rule your sys and ask for you to buy it every other day.

Nobody's gonna go all the way from XP to 2000 pro just for the sake of a media application.

They are blood relatives. XP is based of off 2000. 2000 is just better. If you run it on your sys you know why.

I couldn't tell you which one is better, so that's fair enough. If you're going to upgrade, there is the choice between the two. But if you're already using XP, is there that much point? After all, we are only talking about a media application which people may want to use because of it's status and past reputation, but has now become a part of an unpleasant, underhanded operation, which may drive people away and onto less feature packed, but more honest, utilities.

If you run XP home edition then take a look at Xp Pro there is a large diff.

XP Pro is basically 2000 pro with a diff face. But if you have XP do love it. I run 2000 pro and 2000 advanced server becuase I know them. The are very stable. I have only used XP Pro briefly till i put 2000 data server on that machine so I am not too too familiiar with XP.

THe one thing is money. XP is at a good price. 2000 pro is way too damn expensive (it is still considerd a large buss os).

Thank god I got a friend that works for MS 2 hours north of me and my 2000 pro cost me 29.00
