Okay, this is way off topic of TFC or anything, but I feel I need to point this out.

Is anyone besides me getting sick of UbiSoft using their Rainbow Six engine for every game they make? They just released a game called The Sum of All Fears, based on the movie that was released last Friday (a good movie at that). Well, Rainbow Six, Rogue Spear, Ghost Recon, SoAF...they ALL use the R6 engine, and that's getting kinda OLD. Don't you think they need to moooooooooooooove on?

Yes, I used to play R6 and Rouge Spear back in the day... was fun then but now the engine is just played... they just make more campaigns slap on a new title and kick it out the door.

Hmmm, complaining about an old game engine in a TFC forum . . . can you smell the irony?

Well, at least Valve hasn't made 1000 games using the HL engine...only HL, OpFor, TFC, Blue Shift, and the 3rd party CS.

Don't forget about the mods! There are so many mods for Half-Life, it is insane! They all use the same engine.

TFC, but close behind is The opera. It's a masterpiece more than a mod though.

Well a mod without an engineer is worthless.
