The cookie that the website tries to set when you first visit includes information that uniquely identifies your IP address (and thus your service provider which can then be linked directly to you) and also semi-unique information from your OS/software setup (if I read the numbers in the cookie correctly when my cookie manager SW blocked it).
To me this is an invasion of my privacy. |
