|
|
I was just wondering how many televisions most people had in their house and the size of the biggest one they have.
This past weekend my wife had the bright idea that we had to get a big screen . We now have 4 televisions in our house. 2 of them we don't even use although they are brand new. My son will be getting one of them and I was thinking of putting the other one in my garage. The new one we just got is 61". Personally I think it's TOO big but oh well. I'd do a poll but those don't seem to popular, heheh. _________________

A 20something in the living room, a 14 in my late sister's room, a 14 in my room, a 14 in my mum's room, and an old 14 in the attic that stopped working a long time ago. Hmm... it's things like that which waste so much space But since getting this computer last year, TV has stopped being so significant. Except for The Simpsons and The World Cup
I'm sure there's a black and white thing lying about as well |

I have 2.
My fav is the HDTV only 36 inch (it is old compared to the new standards) in my living room. It has Dolby sound.
I wish I could afford THX.
The other I have is an old Emerson 19 in tv in my bedroom

My wife says that's next. If I get my way I doubt it. THX is way expensive. She says since I'm on the computer all the time she wants to spend money on HER entertainment. We already have Dolby Digital 6.1 but I think she's going through a phase right now. We can't turn up the sound too much because of the nieghbors as it is. _________________

Well, at HOME, we have 3. A 32"-er in the living room hooked up to a 4.0 system (not dolby or anything, just 4 speakers and a reciever) a 30"-er in my bedroom (I picked that bad boy up at a yard sale for 10 BUCKS!! sure, its old, and sometimes it loses red and blue, but hey, TEN BUCKS!! ) and a Dinky TV (like 13") in my parent's room. they keep it cuz it has a remote.
Oh, and i have a ghetto 19" that I don't use anymore. It works, but its missing most of the buttons on the front. I had to use a pencil or some other skinny poking object to turn on, change channels and volume. _________________ I WAS (back in august of 02) just better than you, thats all.

My wife has her 21" in the living room (digi-cable, VHS, and DVD soon if she has her way); my daughter has a 21" in her room (digi-cable with parental locks and old VHS) which is usually tuned to Animal Planet. My daughter also has a retro-tech computer built from parts by my brother (overclocked P166) with my old 17" monitor. I just have my 19" flat screen monitor on my comp.
I may watch TV an hour a day (news or TWC--although they just added the food channel and I like Emeril...) and occationally a movie or Enterprise...
To those of you with 5, 6, 7 (or more ) televisions--you do know there are things called books, right? j/k |
