Since my CPU fried, I need to find a good way of disposing of it. What do you think?
(added option thanks to KRG's tip)

As a lover of Office Space, I am amazed that you did not include "Beat it with a baseball bat" in that poll! That's what I would do. I did that to a Playstation once. I felt so good about it! Erase my Hot Shot's Golf2 season will ya? You little *^%$&$%^$%#%&$^%$&^^$&^$%! _________________ Recipient of POTM award

Legally it should be not be thrown away or broken up. All PCs contain pcbs and other hazardous materials. Call you local disposal company they will know who handles the proper disposal of them. If you were talking about just the CPU chip them just toss it. _________________

Well.....
Depending on the age of the machine you may wish to donate it to one of the many groups that recycles PCs for needy groups and individuals. Heck, they may even give you a tax reciept for it.

You should do all of it. First, take a picture and put it up on Ebay as brand new, then beat it to a pulp and use it for target practice. After that, see how many parts you can actually identify. Then you'll be able to use it for a paper weight trophey. _________________
