Well for some reason I've really gotten in the mood to watch an animated movie tonight or atleast some time this weekend but not sure which one to rent/buy. I'll tell you what I've seen and what I liked and you can give me some ideas based on that. Thank in advance.

Fist of the North Star - hated it
DBZ - seen lots of them if not all and liked'm all
Final Fantasy - amazing animation, crappy story

I've seen more than this but I don't feel like thinking about it anymore. Just gimmie someideas

Old skewl Dominion Tank police. The unedited was better, but if you are a youngin you should watch the edited version, obviously. The 'neo dominion Tank police' wasn't anywhere near as good.

Anything with Lum. Beautiful dreamer was one of the better ones.

Artimage 3 was pretty cool. Kinda mushy though. (A real tear jerker. Yup.)

Trigun is nice. The first season of robotech was good. Ninja scroll and ninja ressurection too.

Above all else, Cowboy bebop. If you have not seen every episode, run. Do not walk. Rent them. Now.

Hope that helps.

Forgot a couple of series

Ah, My Goddess
Gunsmith Cats- Another one not for the kiddies
Dominion Tank Police - (Can't believe I forgot that one)
(Kind of old school) G-Force (a.k.a.-Gatchaman, Battle of the Planets)
Tenchi Muyo-Some episodes better than others
Speed Racer - For a good laugh at the terrible english dialogue.
Big O - fairly new one with quality story line
Blue Submarine No.6 - quality English dubbed movie.
Ranma
Evangelion

You can also try looking here for some good stuff

I would have to recommend Rurouni Kenshin/Samurai X, Cowboy Bebop, Bastard, Gundam Wing, Gasaraki, Akira (New Version), Ghost in the Shell, Ninja Scroll, and if you could find any: Full Metal Panic (find it in Japanese if you can.) I watch almost all of these in Japanese so I don't know how good the voice acting is in english.

you havent seen an anime classic until you've seen 'castle of cagliostro' directed by hayao miyazaki(yah, im that old)...who also directed princess mononoke and kiki's delivery service...the DVD is excellent..beats my worn down analog VHS tape...

-and of course anything macross-except for 'macross 7'...save that for another day(get back to me on what day that should be )...the 'mospeda' series is my personal favorite...
