Pondscum, why the "tunnel" on your heatsink? Did you have a fan on the case at one point before you did the cutout for the plexi?

Have you considered removing it now and let the dual fans at the back of the case draw off more of the heat?

Or am I just missing something from the photos and should I just STFU?

well yes and no... that huge beast on my cpu is the cooler and fan itself (a friggin brick! (size and weight)) and then 4 more 80mm fan "housings" with the blades of the fans cut out so its just hollow bolted onto it...that is a tonnel up to the plexi, but its on purpose so it sucks air from outside the case right into the cpu...the clearance b/t the edge of the tonnel and the plexi is very small, another layer of plexi would seal it perfectly and thats liek 1/16" thick or something (3mm? i dunno metric stupid american schools) so the rear fans pull almost exclusivly hot air... im redoign the window eventually becasue the edge looks liek ass now, and ill seal that point so there is no air sucked out by the rear exhaust that is from that hole (w/o passing thru cooler that is ;>) good point though...i might even get tird of the tonnel eintrely, im not sure..it does give it a nice coolign boost but it lets the cpu fan noise come right in my ear...literally...if i can find out someway to dampen it that would be perfect..any ideas anyone?
