I am running a regular PC not a Mac. Is Pro Tools better than Cool Edit Pro 1.2? I saw the "free" version of Pro Tools for 98 Second Edition and couldn't figure it out. Anyone help or have an opinion? _________________ Yes, I'm still around

Frag, you may want to talk to Ktulu about this. He has given me some excellent advice. I believe he uses both. I DLed the free ProTools and found it to be boogery. Hard to work with. Of course, I hadn't a clue what I was doing. I ended up getting Magic Maker Generation 6 Deluxe. It is inexpensive and easy to figure out. I will graduate to something else, but for me this was a good starting point for familiarizing myself with this kind of thing. Good luck! And you may want to check out the thread I started called *I've missed you...* It is just a little ways down. There is a little info there on this topic. _________________
