I know i'm about to piss off a large amount of people here.

But I am so sick of Avanti. Seriously I am so damn tired of that map. It's at the point now where the only reason I will go to server 1 is when I know almost everyone there.

So I'll expect to get shot down for this sometime in the not so distant future.

Spice it up! Play a new class that you suck at, Assign a certain weapon to a certain class ie; Playing a spy? Dart gun/Crow bar is the only weapons you allow yourself to use. Somany different way's to make a map that a "Player is Burned out on" spicey

Great tips SpeCies. This happens to all of us you either find something like SpeCies has mentioned to spice it up or give it up for a while.
Don't worry though that good ole Avanti feeling comes and goes but rarely disappears completly.

Yea your prolly right. And as a matter of fact I have been playing other classes adn I tried the concentrating on different weapons things but when i don't do well it just frustrates me further. Oh well. Hopefully people will be on 2 or something.

If it makes you feel any better, I went through a similar phase earlier this year... I played a lot on TVs 4 and 5, tried out some other maps and learned a few mew classes. Now I'm back into Avanti as strong as ever. Unfortunately I've lost some talent in the map during my time away....but I'm sure that will come back!

I've been playing a lot of CTF maps lately, on offense (openfire_l, my favorite!).

So the basic plan for me is: go into their base, die while trying to get the flag, repeat. And when I try to go back on 1, I don't have as much fragging $ki11 on avanti as I did before. And that gets me frustrated too. Oh well, I gotta start playing that map again!

yeah I was pretty burnt on avanti 2 so I kinda hung out on 2-4 just for da heck of it.. figured I'd give 1 a gander again the other day and well.. I'm back into avanti... but I still can't play it back to back...

hell I even went pyro for da hell of it heh

If you get bored of TV1, go to TV4. NTF can be fun sometimes. Well, for me. I know most of you guys hate it.
