|
|
It's Memorial day here and I was wondering what goodies you may be planning to eat and activities planned.
Were having barbeque Ribs, Hot wings and Hot links, with cole slaw, deviled eggs, green olives and vegetables with various dips.
Lots of iced tea and sodas.
We have wheel barrow races and play basketball.
Then we cut the watermelon and relax.
The only problem is I'm eating the hotlinks right now with Killer...were bad! |

I am goin home tomorrow specifically for the barbeque.
ACK!
I just called my parents and found out (thankfully) that they WERE planning on just makin a roast! I made sure that they understood that Burnt Meat was a requirement on Memorial Day. Nothin like Burnin a bit of pig and cow to celebrate our veterans.
I guess our menu consists of Spare ribs, burgers and Hot Dogs. In our neighborhood, the 4th is the REAL big holiday. Our neighbor always has a HUGE barbeque that day
Hope everyone has a happy and safe Memorial Day. _________________ I WAS (back in august of 02) just better than you, thats all.

I HATE YOU ROOF!!!!
No long weekend here in Canada and I have been spending the day building PC's for some customers.
So supper tonight was Kraft Dinner My Neighbours fired up the BBQ and I was drooling all over the keyboard.
Tell you what Roof, invite me down next time and I may just take you up on it.

Trigger loves BBQ's, and I don't think I tried devilish eggs before But once I set foot within range of the BBQ grill, I don't play _________________ I like you---that's why I'm going to kill you last.

And my Memorial Day will consist of us (me) gathering around the grill (microwave), waiting for the great feast (some richbowl thing) to get done, because I'll probably have to go celebrate (go to work). |

BBQ..umm nothen beats chicken...
Skinless chicken breasts, creole style. Mashed garlic butter potatoes and cannot forget some kilbasas. Potato salad, green beans, and corn on the cob.
God I am already Hungry...
Trust me I remember the college days when I sat in Boston had top ramen noodles because I had no money especially to fly home to Portland. The days will get better for all (next year it is deep fried turkey mm good).
