I have a question: Does clicking the pop-up ads get you more money than me clicking on the banner ads? I'll do whichever helps out more...or both if that helps more.
P.S. My pop-up stopper isn't working against most of these ads .
P.P.S. I really hate those pop-ups/unders that bring up a download prompt...you have no idea how many times I've almost downloaded Gator, CometCursor, etc.
P.P.P.S. Lynyrd Skynyrd is awesome!

Yeah, how much money does clicking a banner ad give?
And when does it happen? Do I just click it and it gives money, or do I have to wait for the page to load? |

For the pop-ups, all you have to do is let them load. At least, this is how it worked when pop-ups have been used in the past. Correct me if I'm wrong Rob... |

The pop-ups are a pain, but I can deal with it... but there is this one in particular that loads itself without a close option, or situates itself such that the *x* is hidden above the top of the screen But it tricks you by puting a picture of an *x* near the top (I wasn't fooled). The ONLY way to make that particular ad go away is to bring up the task manager and end task. You cannot even right click on it on the task bar and choose close. I think that the banner company should be made aware of crap like that and be a little more selective of the kinda pop-ups that their customers are using. _________________

The pop-ups have seemed to have stopped here as well. Hopefully it will be for good. I haven't heard anything else from the banner place. _________________

Munkey gave me a good popup stopper. That is it's name by the way. Go to download.com and search for popup stopper. It's small and it's free, runs in the background and kill them all so far. _________________

OBH - no, using task manager is the long way to do it.
Simply use Alt-F4. that closes the currently selected window under all circumstances. You can also shut down your pc with it. Apart from Windows E, and Alt Tab, it is my most commonly used key combination.
