OK, here's the deal:
I was extremely bored Monday afternoon, and TV wasn't up yet, so I decide to play a little OpFor. Except, I can't! When I started the game and I get to the main menu the options
> New Game
> Boot Camp
> Load Game
are all disabled. WTF?
This has just happened since the 1.1.0.9 patch, because I had played OpFor just the day before the patch.
I checked with my brother and his OpFor is broken, too.
Before we go messing with the OpFor installation and all I thought I would check here and see if anyone else has experienced this phenomena.

No, the content control is not active. This is really seems weird to me. I noticed that the same options are the ones that are disabled for the TFC menu.
Anyone else with any ideas?
(thanks everyone) |

TFC is multiplayer only so those options are disabled. The only times those options are disabled on Opfor for me is if I forget to put the CD in. _________________

I heard something like you have to change singleplayer command in your config or something. I know I saw this either in bug report on Planethalflife or on the planethalflife forum. _________________ I need to make a sig, but I don't have the time. Maybe I will eventually. |

Both copies of my OpForce are just fine....even though technically neither is installed. There on my hard disk but I never reinstalled them after I reinstalled my OS. _________________ Shinu Kikai O Motomo

Thanks guys.
NaniteFog: I have tried it with the CD in but nada (actually two different CDs)--so I think that there is a bug, maybe in the last patch. I remember in previous patches that it would update HL then I would get a message that it detected OpFor installed and ask if I wanted to update that too. With the most recent patch (1.1.0.9) I did not get that message.
Borg: Thanks I will look on PlanetHalfLife and see if I can find something. (I looked previously, but since I didn't know what I was searching for... ) |
