ok its about 7:00pm im on the ville, first time on today, and TONES OF POPUPS come out of nowhere! there have to be like 14 windows that just came up..naving anyuwhere on the site spawns more, i restarted and didnt go to any toher site other than ville and they are back again... WHATS GOGIN ON? this is almost as bad as porn-site-spam-popups i cant get control of em! has this happpened to anyone else or am i jsut nuts

ps not to offend anyone by the subject but i am most disturbed by this!

I have no pop-ups with no added programs running besides a completely normal instal of internet explorer, with java script fully enabled. I am 1337

damn i feel stupid...heh...but wow what a load of BS- i never click popups sheerly becasue they are popups, and i cant take these Gator installers ad CSMEDIA whatever the hell that is... man what can be done to get rid of this?!? anything?!??

I hope that since this was not Rob's choice that he won't mind if we take our own defensive measures (i.e. pop-up stopping software). Sorry no links from me you will have to do your own leg work to find one.

Feel free to use pop up blockers if needed. But clicking on the regular banner ads is still appreciated

Hey guys, I use a program called the proximitron... it DOES stop pop-ups and banner ads.. though i try to remember to turn it off to click on the banner ad every day...

and another thing is anyone noticing clicking back spawns a ton of ads and then the next click of back actually takes you there? we need to do somehintg about this! but what?!?!

not sure what I'm doing but I havent had one single popup yet. I do have a popup killer buts its turned off rite now. Lin, how did you do it cause maybe I did something like that by mistake?

I Think those mushrooms on your screen have infected your systray!
Maybe you ought to try a nice sunset or something.

I don't know how they think that anyone would use these popups.
I for one will never buy from this type of ad. I actually dont mind the banners because they give you an oppurtunity to see things you may want.
I never look at the pop ups I just want to kill them!
