How can I fix this?

I hit people with the shot gun dead on from the side, I see no blood and they take no damage. It has to be some gay stuff with the lag compensation in the new patch (I've seen others complain), but this is really pissing me off. It's not just once, or me shooting wrong, I simple cannot hit someone from the side. Does anyone know how to fix this?

I'm having the same problem, only sometimes my gun doesn't even fire, but I lose the ammo. It's only on some maps that it happens a lot, but it's getting more and more annoying.

I've noticed that it's alot harder to snipe since the new patch came out. I can't hit anything now

Maybe I sux0r, but I'm going to blame it on the patch.

I have to agree with you guys, ever since this new patch came out I have had nothing but trouble trying to play the game. I usually play as a sniper and there have been countless times that I would have someone lit up like a Christmas tree and absolutly nothing happens, also if they are in motion then forget about it, might as well switch to crowbar and try to throw it at them, it would have the same effect...
In addition I get hung up in the multiplayer screen every time I try to shut down for a good minute and a half. (sigh) Enough venting for now... I'm going to load up some Ceasar3 and have a smoke.

Shooting someone from the side has a lot to do with how much you lead them by now. I find I have to lead people far more than I did in order to hit them.

So all the snipers are having problems hitting??? Well, I couldn't be happier

, but i havent heard anything about lag comp errors, though when you shoot but there is no shot and you loose ammo, you really did shoot... you just lag so much that you might not get a return packet, or you might not even send it...

I have a ping around 70 now on TV1 with only 30fps on Avanti...used to get at least 70...my choke is around 2 or 3 on average now, but it spikes up to 40-50 when people die, and there are lots of explosions. So, it's not that I'm lagging when I lose ammo...it's just sux0r.
