This is not a complaint, but this seemed the proper forum:
I recently have been getting a "Net_SendPacket Error: NO ERROR" when trying to connect sometimes. It kicks me out of TFC. Once it happens if I try to restart TFC it "performs an illegal operation". I have to restart the computer to get back into TFC.
It also happens at times when the map changes. This is only in the past week. Anyone ever have this problem before? I have changed nothing on the computer except load the latest version of TFC. Even then it did not happen until this last week. It could be an ISP problem.
Thanks

I have never had the problem before, but I am familiar with the message. When my network cable gets disconnected, that message pops up and closes TFC. I haven't tried to restart the game before restarting my computer though. It might be your connection getting interrupted that causes it.

Now that I think more about it though, it only happens when I am trying to connect or when the map changes. It doesn't happen every time that I try to connect or the map changes, but I have never had it happen during a game.

OK so I lied about no changes to the system. I forgot that I had tried to set up voice support. I went into config.cfg and turned that off. Walah! no more problem. I'm not sure why that was pissing it off though. I hope that it doesn't always piss it off because eventually I was planning to get an good NC microphone to use with it. DOH!!

The voice was screwing it up? I wonder if anybody else has been having problems with the voice. I am also hoping to get a good mic so that I can talk in game.

If you don't use headphones and can afford it get an NC [noise cancelling] mic. It cuts down considerably on feedback.
