Ok, anyone who knows me knows I suck at sniper. This sucking is not game specific to DOD or TFC or CS, it is omnidirectional.

Sooooo, since so many of the weapons on DOD are snipe friendly, can anyone give me some simple tips for getting better at this for when my team needs some sniper support? I mean I'm still a melee kind of a guy, but sometimes your team is pinned down and needs a sniper to get that machine gunner in the window.

Do you always sit back from window? Do you crouch instead of going prone? Do you move a lot? I hardly ever go with sniper rifle, is there a way to snipe well with other rifles?

Any help would be appreciated, and it can't possibly make anything worse.

P.S. For that matter, I suck at mg too. I always catch bullets as soon as I set up like I've got a glow in the dark target on my head. If any sniper tips are also good mg tips, please indicate which ones they are.
