Question about those stars and names under a handle

I don't mean to be a bother, but I couldn't find an answer for this any where else on the site. I was wondering about the stars and name classifications that appear under someones handle. The reason I ask, is that I was prompted to join here after playing on a ville and dealing with what I deemed to be a bit of childish behavior by another player there. When I did join, i saw that this other player had joined just the day before and had the same classification that I had so I chalked his behavior up to that perhaps he overreacted to server rules and protocols by being a bit of a server cop. Anyway, since I have joined I've found the forums to be very informative and I've visited here at least once a day to read new postings and to check up on a few of the things I posted myself. Reading a post on monday evening I'd noticed in passing, that the same guy who had had the same classification and star rating had jumped to pro status and had 2 stars, the very next night I noticed it was up to veteran with about 80 posts/answers in little more than a week. Tonight I was reading something I thought was very informative as far as gameplay and I noticed that the poster was classified as noob, but had 50 posts and has been a member since december of last year. So I got to wondering, what exactly is the criteria for upgrading your status? does it have anything to do with actual gameplay time on any ville servers? is it upgraded based on the value of information/insight you contribute to the forums? is there any favoritism/nepotism involved or is it just some automatic upgrade from the server based on the ammount of posts youv'e posted (ie: if i posted 100 answers/posts tonight, would i now be classed as a veteran tomorrow?) I'm sure someone in the know can fill me in, it's just one of those quirky kind of things that flow through mind from time to time.

P.s. I've also noticed some folks playing with a -VS- or a -TVB- either before or after their TFC names, are these a type of ville identifier? is there a heirerarchy involved? being a member of the site and the forums am I supposed to be putting those somewhere in my TFC name?

Hey Magnet Welcome to TheVille!

Stay off the Zen Garden! (that should confuse you even more).

The stars represent the amount of posts you have. . .well. . posted. 51 makes you Pro. 151 makes you Veteran. After that, well. .. you get the idea. Five stars classifies you as an Admin.

TVB stands for The Ville Brotherhood. It is a guild of players that frequent TheVille on a regular basis. It is by invite only. It is based upon TPF (team play first) and all around good attitudes. You can visit the TVB website for more info. http://www.thevillebrotherhood.org/ Or contact Frag Failure (the creator) for a first person explanation.

VS stands for "Ville Supporter". It means you support TheVille and all it stands for. Anyone can wear this tag. Get with Robert E. Lee (TheVille creator) for a first person explanation of what TheVille stands for. I would try to some it all up, but he does it best.

Heh when I started all I got from KRG was a slap to the back of the head, feel priviledged lol.

Welcome to the ville, my only word of advice is make sure when your posting in the forums, you are making fairly relevant posts and not just spamming the board to get more stars. After your on the board long enough youll learn to tactifully put meaningless info in your posts and youll definetly learn the art of taking a post off topic, (in moderation of course) without annoying the villuns or admins.
