I have DSL, with down of about 900-1000k--sometimes I actually get the full 1.5m--and up around 500k (I am real close to the gateway/switching station ). I think the problem is on my end with my mic setup, but I just can't figure it out. I have adjusted the soundcard's record volume, and the voice tweek in TFC--individually and in combination. But I still get the same problem, even in a LAN game. It also does not seem to matter which mic I use (I have three different ones to choose) it still comes through garbled about 75% of the time. If anyone has any ideas how to 'fix' this I would appreciate them.

I use voicecom sometimes, but if I'm just gaming for fun, like almost always, I won't use it much.
56K=annoying
I have to say that Brujah and Bada Bing have the best voice com to me... funny as hell and informative |

I never use voice comm, but I do have a 1 mb per sec cablo modem! Ha take that you 56kers!
I still remember the "good old days" of 28.8 k, when it would take you 4 hours to download a 12 meg file, and you would always lose your connection to the server after you dled 11.99 megs. god those days sucked |
