This post only pretains to Neo-TF...

I think that no airstikes is unfair. It takes away the scouts most devastating weapon. In my opinion its like taking away the HWGuys Autocannon! They would never stand for that! Now I know that the comparison is not quite the same, but still. There are many spy-only abillities that you could take away. One example is the team talk spying, or the aqualung. I think it is a good thing that spys can't be detected by the MGs, but should the tradeoff affect another innocent class?

If we could have taken it from the spy only we would have. Have you tried the scout teleport ?

Yeah, i like the teleport, one of the things i like to do is put it on one side of an opening, then run past the opening and tele back, and do it agian. One time somebody exclaimed "Man! Why the heck do you guys have four scouts!"

But putting that aside, the teleport is a usefull tool, but it can reign death and destruction like a airstrike can. A teleport isnt gonna be that saving throw on avanti where you take out 2 SGs an MG and 2 engies, but it can use help you drop a medic or pyro, and the heavier classes if they are weak.

I was wondering if you could teleport into someone and frag them like I used to do in UT with the teleport device. It was also very usefull for getting to some places either higher or through the cracks as it where. I might have to check it out, I'm with you about the scout airstrike but I won't have undetected spies doing airstrikes. Just wouldn't be fair.

i dont think you can telefrag someone with the teleporter. I heard that HL doesn't support telefragging, which is why when it happens you just get stuck inside the other person.

Err there is telefragging. Ever play map run on a 32 person server? There werent enough spawn points and if someone spawned where you had just spawned you would be instagibbed nad you would get a negative frag.

Yes on avanti when blue capped all points i spawned and someone (my own teammate) spawned on me and i died. doesnt that suck?
