The New Patch

Ok, so everyone has updated their patch right?

But my question is that is it possible to play without updating to the new patch?

If you think its not possible then you haven't heard my problem. Well, when the new patch came my tfc told me to update so I went here and got the new patch dl. The patch was to be updated from 1108 to 1109. Well I dl and I opened it. Then something messed up. Then I rebooted my computer. So I thought to myself hey i guess its updated. I went on playing TFC. Then Today at 10:30 April 30, 2002 people were talking about the new patch in another server. I didn't know why i didn't have the same things that they were talking about until I tried opening the 1108 to 1109 update file and it told me that my patch is 1105 and it only updates 1108.

I didn't even realized I was playing with such an old patch. Then I said that to the people on the server and they told me go update. They said it isn't possible for me to play with a 1105 patch.

Do you think this is possible?

I got the same message when I tried to upgrade CS to 1.4, but it said I already had 1.9 installed? and that my patch was only for 1.3. I was very confused. Oh well, the only reason I play CS is because I can mess with the player skins.

Hello!!!!!! I've been playing and i have not updated to the new patch.

Just to tell you I'm <56k> RYU -VS- and that I play at server #4. I know I played against you My personal insanity heck you were even on my team.

This is what it said when I opened the 1108 to 1109 file.

1105 look 1105 and i'm still playing with you guys.

was that worth saying twice? Don't ask for help if your not going to accept what's said. Maybe your somekinda super hacker and made tfc forget that it can't run without the new patch.

Try downloading another 1108-1109 from a different site you got the one you have from. Some updates are messed up, others work fine. If that doesn't work try the full update, and re-install half-life and update it with the full.

Sorry but I accidently posted it twice by accident because I thought the image didn't show. But that is what it said for my thing. Also, I'M NOT A SUPER HACKER THAT MADE TFC THINK THAT I HAVE NEW PATCH. Also I downloaded the file from here this website.

Mmkay. This happened to me too. Basically it means somewhere along the line, something went wrong. What i'd suggest is dling the full patch. All i can really say on that one.
