Well, I used to love playing CS, I played that for about a year. Then I went to TFC. I got sick of it because it was all " THAT WAS MY FLAG! " and " DON'T CHASE! " so I went to Firearms. I played that for a while, but I left beacuase it was so competitive. There was this one guy, named k77 or something, that commited suicide beacuse his clan lost a final by one frag. Fairly stupid. Then I came back to TFC. I had Warpathville from when I played before ( didn't play very much on it though ) and by that time, it had changd to Avantiville, then shortly after, Avanti 1. It's the people a The Ville that make TFC good.

I agree - The Ville encourages fair play, without being uptight, and extras like the sound pack, and the funny voiceovers like "Bad Bad Bad" make it all more satisfying to come here.

Where else can you run around a guy toting an autocannon setting him on fire? Flaming HWs to death is the life.

I've had Half-Life since the second day of its release. HL Teamplay sucked because know one really tried to be a team. Then Valve released the patch with TFC...(pausing to pay homage to the gods at Valve)...the rest is history.

As for the reason to keep playing. Has anyone played online with Jedi Knight, Jedi Knight 2, Avp, or Avp2? It's okay but its not TFC. As far as any version of Quake...for n00bs.

The Biggest Reason: The Ville. Fast servers, good community, people understand playing as a team, funny sounds. Let's face it nothing is funnier than watching that chicken run around. Most importantly Admins who inforce the rules.
