Anti cheat in 1109

Well, an unnamed cheat (I do know the name, but I'm not posting it here) is already proven to work in cs1.4, with 1109. Which mean it probably will work in tfc. Although I was wrong with my timing (1 week after the patch), because the hack already worked with the cs1.4 betas and was released a couple of days ago. Meaning that it took cheaters -3 or so days to hack the new 1109 code. Wow go vavle!

Does it frighten/concern anyone else now much Lin knows about cheats?

"We're just getting the first phase of the anti-cheat stuff online with this release. Yes, xqz2 still works. We've toyed with some ways of stopping it, with success, but we'd like to get everything out there and settled before we go after all cheats directly.

The main exploit covered in the initial rollout are client.dll hijacking ones.

The anti-cheat system is designed to be updated "on the fly", so we'll be adding to it in the days post release."

Thats good new PHISH. I really like the update so far and I'm really happy that the Valve team is getting involved to put a hurting on these cheeturs

All I want to know is when will they fix the sniper hunchback? It's totally messed up. What was wrong with the skins before? I know the jumping is different (eww), but did they have to mess with the basic skins?

Old models are too easy and too funy looking, i just turned them on for the first time, its hard to miss people when they are that big

Yea when someone's expertise seems to be directed towards such an anti-productive cause it concerns me.... I'm going to leave it alone though b/c I don't point fingers and untill he proves me different I will think the best of him (lin)

I wouldn't call myself an expert, just someone that is very very bored at times. Most things for the computer come naturally to me. That is just one of many things I know how to do easily. Besides, I do have a very good memory.

Ogc now works, it's not released, but they have a working beta. I saw this on the steampowered.com forums accually.
