Lockups

Ever since I updated half life, I can only play for a few minutes, maybe less, and then my computer lockus playing the last second or so of sound in a loop. I want to play, but I am locking up. By the way, I am running in opengl mode.

I can't help you because i can't even get the CS update. These updates SUCK on more ways then one.

Well it locksup right after I leave internet games. You know the menu where Lan game and custumize is and all the other stuff is!

Mikey, if ya cant get it to work maybe download a third party launching prog like gamespy or all seeing eye and see if you can join that way.

I know you said you tried the settings in sound, only other is try the settings in video to D3D. If not then move maps/sounds and your config files away and uninstall HL, then start over. I have no other ideas. I have had a previous patch screw up and thats what I had to do.

GOD@#$%^ ME TOO. I LOCK UP SOLID LIKE A ROCK AND I CANNOT FIGURE OUT WHY. I HAVE THE FULL PATCH AND REINSTALL DOES NOT CHANGE THINGS. I HAVE NOT HAD THIS PROB
