| Actually my favorite Newb event takes place on avanti. I will disguise as an NME spy while waiting for the gates to open. The NEWB who is often a HW, will start shooting me. Remember the gates aren't even open yet. I then feign death, so he stops shooting. I the revive and he invariably starts shooting again. This can go on several times in the 30 seconds before the gate opens. I've done this several times and on occasion the NEWB will type "Cheater !!". Too funny. |

| You guys do realize you were all once n00bs? I remember the first time I played I was playing well and I was a pyro in the sniper tower. I was shooting my flame thrower at an enemy on the other side of the map. I was wondering why he wasn't dieng. He kept telling me that I couldn't get him from that far away, I of course thought he was lieng and kept doing it for about 30 mins before I finally changed classes to HW. LOL! |

Now this was an actual conversation at AvantiVille by a NEWB who is now a regular and a pretty fair Engy as well. I was the someone funny who kept upgrading his SG when I past it. I kept wanting to tell him but it was just way to funny to watch. He would build the SG and then stand there banging away with the wrench. Such dogged, stubborn determination was eventually rewarded

Oh my God, you aren't talking about me are you? I was awful for a long time. Engie can be a tough class for a n00b to pick up. You think "oh boy, I've got a laser gun. I'm gonna kick some ass!"
