Ok so what's so wrong with chasing down a spy? Would you rather let him go, take down a... or maybe 2 SG's. I'd rather chase him down and be sure of his death rather than let him run by into the unsuspecting hands of the defense.

Leaving your position in a clan match is a no-no because it breaks down your teams stratagy. If your team expects you to have something covered, and you do not...then they will get snowed from something they thought was shut down. In a public server you most often have to track those pesky spies down and finish them off as your team will likly not be able to do it for you. (Even if you tell them who the frickin' spy is.)

Medic and spies aren't really that similar. On some maps medics are effective and some maps spies are effective. How often have you had a spy steal your flag on 2fort? How often has a medic done it? A whole hella lot more times. Avanti just happens to be a particularly good spy map. (Open air maps tend to be best for spies anyway...warpath is another strong spy map.) Yes spies are powerful, but then again...so are the other classes in the proper hands.

Ok i see your point. But that only really applies to clan matches, public games are another story.

Basically you are right computer. Plus in leagues you MUST use the mic to commmunicate. You also have to consider that most leagues are 5 on 5 or 7 on 7. So leaving your zone to chase someone opens that spot for the enemy.

They are similar in that they are both melee type units primarily. They need to keep moving and function best by getting behind people. They spend most of their time in NME territory and grab all the health they can. They do their best work by getting as close as possible. The main differences are the disguise and conc jumping, which leads to differnt functions on some maps.

And did I miss something? What's freeze?

Back to the topic, I agree with Frag, spies are not that hard if everyone spy checks. I not great at spy checking, but I am learning and getting better at it. If anyone is running owards me, I always shoot them, unless I'm on 2hp or something.

And Airstrikes are a little harsh, but they're fun!
