| ok if u raed my other post you will see...i need to find the TFC update thingy..'.idk which one...but i try and click the "check internet for updates".....and it like just sits there and does nuttin...so can sumone point me in the direction i need to go |

| well this gay...i can't find a DL to make it work...so can anyone plase help me?? i called Coon and he wont' let me use his disk...idk y......but can anyone tell me where and what i need... when i try and join a server..it says that i don't have the right protocol..so idk |

Go to this section and get the full version, if you tweak your dsl (look at my other post), it should only take a few minutes for the full one. That'll solve any problems.

You installed it under counter strike, right? If so, you need the 1.0.0.3 update for CS retail. Look for this under fileplanet and it should work.

You need to update counter strike, not HL. You don't have to worry about your connection at this point, you are just trying to install the wrong patch, trust me.
