I'm in. I would like to play. It would be fun playing demoman(can I det the enemy team with the ball?), or engie.

Yes, the match will be on Friday. Sorry about the incorrect date (what calander I was looking at beats me).

An update to the rules, there will be no detpacks/sg's in the field. This is really covered by the rule of not attacking teams without ball, but I think it's better to go ahead and clear everything up to start with.

You could set detpacks, as long as they are within your base. However, this probably wouldn't be too productive and you'd more than likely die since mirror damage is on. You can also set detpacks within NMY base if they have the ball, however make sure that the fuse is very short (5 seconds) so that if they where to drop the ball the detpack wouldn't kill team without ball. I doubt very seriously if they will let you have enough time to set a detpack though (look at who's playing).

Brujah, snipers in murderball are pointless if you actually play the map how it is supposed to be played. Granted you could just run around with your auto rifle! But sniping only the enemy with the ball would be quite difficult and not effective enough to help your team in any way. Even if you just played D in your own base, how many could you actually snipe while the entire opposing force is coming into your base?

Infections are another bad thing for one reason. You will usually die after your team has lost the ball. Medics can still be very effective though. ie Healing your own team and concing away with the ball.

Sg's and detpacks in the open field are completely agianst what the map is all about. Sg's and detpacks in the open field will certainly kill everyone without the ball.

The map is meant to be played two ways. Only kill the team with the ball. Or, pure deathmatch. The latter being the most boring. Nothing is worse than a murderball map full of snipers! You walk out of your base and look up to see the ball is in red's base. As you begin to run, you are sniped by the green team? Why? The whole point is to gang up on the team with the ball. That's what makes the map great! Four seperate teams combining their forces to achieve a common goal. . .Get the ball!

The map is not titled "murderpeople". . It's titled "murderball"!

I'm the one who pushed for meds not to infect on THIS map...the teams are so small that a lot of them wont be carrying a medic so I felt it would take away from "the spirit of the murderball map"...we still think a medic can be a good class to play...getting the ball to healing the teammate with the ball if he/she is hiding upstairs and cant pickup bags...

we want to see some good defense but also we want the ball to change hands a lot...

we are going to try and use this server to have maps that arent played a lot set up at a certain time on the weekend so we can have a full game...Like an Osaka, Vidars, Rats etc...

Maybe one map on friday night, another saturday night, and still another sometime sunday...
