I just upgraded my computer and was introduced to a new world in TFC gaming. I'm honestly at a loss of words. Most of you probably have no idea what it's like to play at 3 fps. I guess I got accustomed to it and WHAM... my eyes are opened. One thing I'll have to get used to though is just how responsive the game is now. It's like being introduced to a whole new game, and I need to get the feel for it again.

So what did I do to my computer. Well here is a run down of the specs.

256 DDR RAM
20 GB HD 7200 RPM
1.4 GB AMD Duron
Nvidia TNT2

Plus I got a new keyboard (my old one's keys stuck), an optical mouse (one thing I'm definately not used to yet), and my cable connection seems to be getting better (for those of you who remember me complaining.)

Well, that's about all I got to say. It just blows my mind what I was missing out on.

Okay... one more thing. I am now [njk]VeilSide for those of you who don't know.

now just upgrade the tnt2 to a geforce3 ti200 for 150

Don't get hooked man! I'm hooked on upgrading and I'm about to buy 2 AMD 1.9s this weekend and a geforce 4 and the ASUS duelboard so I can overlock the 2 1.9s! Someone stop me! Nooo not the etched window too and the extra fans! Lights! Oh no! When will it end!?

If I had the money I'd pick up another stick of 256 ram, but I don't.

One thing I have that none of you can beat: A blue power button. YES! That's right folks, a BLUE power button. Beat that eh? (I have a Sony Vaio, sweet lookin machine)

I spent alot of money to get better speakers for my computer so i have surround sound in TFC

I hear yea Chan i just put together my new computer last week and its is so much better i got:

Athlon 1900
256DDR ram
Geforce4 DDR 440 mx

I got fairly Cheap to http://www.pricewatch.com is a good site if anyone is interested I recommend http://www.mgepc.com I ordered from ohio to boston on good friday and got it on Monday!! no overnight, got it regular mail got a barebone system for 400 bucks!! its cheap now adays

Well Looks like I'll be swinging in to my computer store tomorrow since one of my sticks of PC2100 256M RAM blew out just over an hour ago. God damn thing! Man I love 1 year warranties though

why yall getten these G4s but got PEWNIE HEEWMAN RAM cant have less then 512 dur I got a G2 Pro im fine with it and my 1.2 gihz gives me plenty speed. I just wonder why people all tryen to make super comps who really uses all there power ? All I do is game and surf .. I could do animation with it but 20 gig hd SUX me need another ohhh 80 ? hehe goiung to get 1.9s Powers ? you going to buy me one while your at it ? some more fans and some LEDs? Another one of ur RAM sticks bit it? Damn your RAM be dumbified!
