This file is in your TFC folder. If the file size is rather large you might wanna think about deleting it. What happens is as it gets large it causes you game to take quite a bit longer than it should to load, or during map changes. I know this has been mentioned before but I thought Id bring it back up for ppl that didnt see the topic before.

After you delete the file, once you join TFC creates a new custom.hpk. Mine was 11mb in file size, lets hear how big your file was.

There is a cvar somewhere that limits that file. I forgot though, its at the official c-strike forums. Mine = 14.8 mb

Here is how to do it.

Half-Life v1.1.0.6

hpk_maxsize,

hpk_maxsize 0, is no maxsize.

hpk_maxsize 1.5 is a file maxsize of 1.5 megabytes.

Mine was 18MB (eek!) Now it is 41K

what exactly does this file do anyway? Guess I could search for it..

edit. NM it holds your spraypaints ppl have used.

woot! Mine was only 1MB... I'm so glad the delay between map changes for me is because of my crappy connection, not a file... </sarcasm>

Mine was only at 5megs. I set it there a while back when I first figured out custom sprays. I did reset it down though. Thx for the reminder!!
