I've heard flat screens are not that good for gaming due to a slow refresh rate. (or something). You might be better off looking for a flat CRT montitor instead (meaning the screen is flat, not curved - but it's still got the cube shape.)
But then, that info might be outdated, just something to think about.

flat screens are only good if your system is set at the resolution that they are made for. which means, if the screen is made for 1024x728 then you can't increase the resolution higher to get a better quality. flat crt monitors are still the way to go. flat screens are getting there though.

I have a 19inch LG Flatron 915FT+, and it is one of the best flat CRT monitors around 1280*1024 at 85Hz - a dream.
It feeds on desk space, but it's a great monitor, as well as having a USB hub at the back.

I have no idea
But, George, I bet I got more lag than you, my ping is always around 400!
But, I hope everything goes well with your new computer, and Welcome Dawg!

I don't know if that is your highest, then I beat you, I have had mine go up to 10000! Then I just quit.

I have had that as a scoreboard ping, but it was netgraph that showed the 10000.

When I've gotten DSL I had trouble setting it up. So we switch to cable.
