I bet you were the second post weren't you. They edit and delete posts there at will though, much like the NeoTF forum admins... It's a pity you can't have an opinion sometimes.

The PlanetFortress hate fest started when |RES|PaulBunyan came on our servers. We felt he was using a speed cheat at the time. The truth he was using an extreme script. Let's say Paul was less than nice and more or less condisending to Robert and myself. So all the |RES| guys will bash the Ville any chance they get. We've since made an admin protocol how to deal with llamas because of this. Paul still had it coming to him imo. I tried to debate this topic, but the |RES| and board regulars saw it as a flame fest.
Here's my post in October.
"As an admin on the ville I take use of the speed cheat 4 very seriously. The only times I will use this is if they are kicked and come back. Then they must be saying to F' off, using racial slurs, or insistant llama tactics while talking trash. These people need to take a "time out" and fix their exe. People who intentionally go out of their way to ruin a game deserve this imo. You need to look at the other side of the coin and realize that these people are intentionally "ruining" the gaming we all come online to play. You have one jerk who ruins it for the other 21 players in the game. 95% of the time I will llama or gag them. If they continue to talk in teamsay (llama doesn't apply to a team message which an admin can read.) then I will ban them.
Hehe I don't feel I'm flinging mud. Paul was the first one to fling the mud at the ville and I feel it's necessary for a response since I was actually there. Myself and Robert E. Lee (admins) were there. I said my story and I am sticking by it. The others are all speculating on something they did not see. He (Paul) had an ample opportunity to defend himself and chose to name call. That breaks rule #1 and constitutes the ban.
In closing if you choose not to follow the ville's MOTD then I suggest you all steer clear of the ville. If you wish to boycott us, then do so if you choose. We have 1,000's that play there each week on our four (UPDATE NOW SEVEN) servers that seem to have no problem with our rules and play just fine.
I understand that some of you are friends with Paul here so I expect you to take his side in this manner. It's understood, I'd expect backup from my friends too.

Hehe I'm not overly concerned with the ville's reputation on this board. We seem to get 1,000's every week on four different servers. The stats on theville don't lie. I'm just telling you my account of what happened. If you choose to disagree with me then that is fine. I've been a part of many messageboards and they use the mob mentality. If one person who is a regular on the board gets messed with...then the whole board jumps on the other side. You guys will all jump to Paul's side because he's a regular here and flame the ville. It's Understood and expected.
