need help from someone knows about computer tech stuff

Hi all! I wiped my HD, and just reinstalled windows! Now I gotta figure out the networkm, the dsl, the vid card ~SIGH~ thanks for everything tho!

wow, runs like a charm now! i have nothing installed! MWAHAH!!! ... um... ok its not very useful, but this useless lump of plastic is FAST at opening windows!

I've had every Windows program at some point and ME is the worst I've ever used Silent Snaggle. Of course I'm no genious by any means but as far as for someone like myself that just doesn't want to have to mess with configurations, ME gave me loads of trouble. 98 SE actually worked the best for me. I have XP right now and for some reason it keeps corrupting 3 particular files, dunno why. System restore sure comes in handy but in 98 SE I never really needed it. Sorry a little off topic.. Congrats Goldom, good luck with bringing everything back for halflife.

I'm telling you Roxio GoBack Deluxe 3.0 is better than the restore that ME and XP has.

I think XP is wonderful.

Go back programs are nice. Some mother boards come with them and some you can buy. I have heard they are wonderful. However, i think the restore in XP is pretty decent.
