Cable Modem

I need to buy a Cable modem anyone have any good sugs on where to get one that is fast and cheap (like whybkuul) *jk*
But seriouly any help?

If you can get Charter in Dubuque, they usually have decent rates on cable.

AT&T primarily uses the Surfboard or RCA modems. You can find these at CompUsa or any big computer chain store. They usually run about $200.

If your getting Optinum Online go to the wiz. After all,

it's 4x faster than dsl.

I've had broadband cable now for about 4 years. In that time I've gone thru 3 modems. I rent cause with the failure it's actually worked out to be cheaper for me to just rent. It goes bad they bring me a new one. Are the one's you buy at the stores any more reliable?
