To bring this back on topic, so there will EVENTUALLY be another bash, it hasn't been cancelled forever, correct? And when there is another bash, would I FINALLY be able to play in it?

I just had a though (1 of 2 I have in a week according to my wife ).
The next bash could we do it on a non standard custom map...um vidas dusk shortbus etc..
