29 weapon club

OK i tried to make it to the 29 weapon club today and thought i made it but i only have 28! Could someone pls post a list of all the types of kills? Or look at my kills and tell me what i am missing?

Hey man looks like you are missing the super shotty. The engineer has it, not sure on other classes.

All classes have the SuperShotgun except Scout, Sniper, Demoman, and Pyro.

It should be easy enough to get.

I made it to the 29 weapon club! I forgot the medkit is not the same as infecting someone.

well, congrat to a lot of you for your accomplishment. That is great. I am not sure if i can do it myself.

But I just want to remind you guys that there are actually 28 weapons. The reason is that infection and timer are teh same, so is headshot and sniperifle. They are the SAME weapon. So that's 27. one last one is the little tranquil gun that spies have. I can see on the stat chart that nobody kiled with it. So, too bad guys, I don't think you've killed with all the weapons.

Nevertheless, you guys are still very skilled to have killed with so many weapons. Good job!

Congrats pointy, seems lot of people went for it this week

As for Omega, we can only go on what the stats throw out, Maybe you would feel better if it was called the 29 ways to kill club ??
I tried to get a tranq kill, then found out that it doesn't show up in the stats, maybe an admin could clarify exactly what kills are registered and displayed.

If you look in the HELP under STATS you will find the list of weapons with their modifiers.

It is simpler to go by the count, since if you get them all, you will have 29 entries in your stats.

When I first decided to do this, I used to get kills with both the spy tranq gun and the engy nail pistol. After thinking about it I decided that since they were treated as the same weapon I shouldn't worry about getting both. That would be like saying "well you got kills with the shotgun of one class but not with the same shotgun of a different class"

If your stats show 29 items then you are in the 29 club.

It isn't as easy as some people think since you need to play all classes to get all 29 and most people specialize and wouldn't have a clue how to get say "a dispenser kill" or possibly "a det pack kill" etc. Not to mention the ever elusive caltrop kill

When you accomplish it, you have a much better respect for all classes and are a step closer to possibly accepting the RANDOM CHALLANGE. Play for a week as nothing but RANDOM. There are several of us regulars who did it a couple months ago. Maybe it's time to issue the challange again ?

Thanks CycoDad for clearing that little point up, I've seen a couple of post questioning the validity of people entering the 29 club..

Your absolutley right about understanding and appreciating how difficult some of the other classes are... it was an eye opener for me, that was for sure.. there were times when I had no idea on what was the best way to get a kill with a certain weapon. Probably half the kills I got were with weapons I'd either never used or had never got a kill with before.

As for the random challenge, I'd be up for that, just pick a week and get a posting.

Hey all, I just got my 29th weapon kill of the week! I decided to go for it yesterday, since I had already got over 24 different weapons kills this week.

My last one was a headshot...I believe ApacheEyes did the same thing, but I did not plan it that way. I don't play sniper much due to my connection.

I owe Twisted29 for my caltrop and dispenser kills, both on Murderball! Thanks Twisted29!

I have to say it feels real good to accomplish this against the players we have on The Ville. So many good players make it hard to get these kills.

I have 28 weapon kills, only missing the caltrop. I did get all 29 kills when I was POTW though (got 5 caltrop kills

It is a good feeling to achieve the 29 club, especially with our crappy ping times against such good players.. I don't really have a ping time for sniping, but I do like playing the class, it frustrates other players at times, but too bad, it gives them a chance to learn a new class.. I'm going to get cable in the near future.. so thats going to make life very interesting both for me and you guys.. muaahhhh.
