Another {Defiance} Cheetur Banned

It took me 3 weeks to figure out how to install a map, heheh. I wouldn't even want to think of how long it would take me to try to figure out the whole cheat thing. I've gotten where I am today due to countless spankings on the battlefield. I enjoy playing people that are better than me so I can learn from what they do. I was on one of the ville servers earlier and one of the admins wouldn't say a word to me. An admin that I've played with since i carried the [Vega$]tag. I made several attempts to say hi and no comment. Maybe he didn't see it, granted, but it sure does get a person thinking that he's done something wrong. I just wish the whole thing would blow over and we could get back to just fragging. And Ktulu, we've been playing together for some time now. Do you really think I'm cheating?? In your first post it sounded to me like you were directing your comments towards everyone in the clan. I'm not bashing you in anyway but why would you direct it towards everyone in the clan?? Just seems a little bit malicious is all.

Wow...this is realy quite amazing. I go on vacation for a week, and now I come back to this? I must say, this is really quite sad. (What I say next is my opinion only an in no way represents the opinion of the [Defiance] clan) I do not believe either Guy Type R or Invictus should be let back to the ville since they were caught with a cheat. Regardless of whether it allows you to do something in TFC or CS or whatever, it means you are capable of cheating. I have never even thought of d/ling a cheat or "trying one out". I think that is just stupid. The only possible exception is if you share a cpu with someone else and they put the cheat on...in that case there isn't much you can do until it's too late and you are banned for having a cheat you didn't know about. I also will not back up either of the 2 members since I only had the chance to play with Guy maybe once before he was "caught" and I never played with Invictus. If I had played with them, maybe my opinion would be different, maybe not. I an saddened by everything that has happened since I left. I can't think of anything else to say except I am glad many of you have not let this get entirely out of hand and that many of you do not judge a whole clan by 2 people who were members for a short time. I'm sure I have forgotten to address something and when I think of it I will add it, but until then, I hope to see many of you in game and to have fun fragging with you all like we always have.

1. No one should recruit from another clan. That's tasteless imo.

2. I know that the guys who monitor the anti cheat software will also be watching to see if there are any bugs with the current version. I know that an old version flagged me on The Hood and I had done nothing different. I think my rep speaks for itself and would never use any cheat, even to test to see what does or does not work. I came back on after being unbanned by cstone to test to see if it would flag me again. It didn't. I've never had any problem since. This incident was about two months ago.

Bright Red Nipples (funny name) and Jaredmonkey I did not know you were in this clan until today, I would bet my life that neither of you have ever or ever will cheat, [Defiance] is lucky to have you.
I'm not saying that all the others cheat I just don't know them well enough to bet my life

I think this will work itself out and everybody will walk away a little bit smarter.

Now it's my turn to say some things...

As far as Guy-Type, and Invictus, no comment. Don't know them, don't know the circumstances.

As for my move to Defiance (blown65 and deathbringer), you can be pissed at me. No one recruited me, really. I made a comment about maybe wanting to try some match play, and that {db+ok} didn't do matches. Lud, and another member were on the current map, and I said that I might just "...have to join Defiance, or something".

Lud saw it, asked if I was serious, and when I said "I guess so, sure" he said ok.

I made the decision, nobody did it for me. As for notification, I do apologize. You are right, and it was my responsibility to let you know. I just hope there are no hard feelings. I like playing w/ all you guys and look forward to the competition in the future.

I made the move/decision quickly, so there was no fore-warning. But that is still no excuse for not informing you after.

As for cheats/banning in general, I do want to say that when I first came here, and with the upgrade, I was worried until the first time I was authenticated. With no list of what is being looked at, I have to wonder if one of the sprites or mdls I have might cause it to trigger.

I have been accused of cheating, more than my fair share. And many of you know that I don't. So, just for the record, I don't cheat, but I do use a purple, smiley-faced laser dot and crosshairs to sight better. (And the laserdot doesn't get lost on the walls of warpath as easy.)

Ok. That's all I have to say.

Well goes to show how much you know shark. Maybe you should talk with njk about something Ive been going to put together as soon as I get back. I guess youll never know now since you lacked the ability to send a email.

To top it off, when you first joined you told me yourself you wouldnt be able to often do matches cause of personal life. Guess that has changed now hasnt it. And didnt I not but 2 weeks ago email you about a proposed match you couldnt make. Good luck and your new clan.

good luck with defiance. hope for your and everyone else's sake their that you dont' have any issues with hacks. Cause then your be not only w/o a clan, but without the Ville also.

Well maybe shark you should read my other post. Yes I was upset about all this, but its just a game remember. Really doesnt matter that much to me. I still think your a cool guy and will look to kill ya every chance I get online, no matter what clan you may be in.

There isn't anything at all bad about not being in a clan. I'm not in one, and I still have a hell of a lot of fun playing with everyone. But then, of course, I'm only looking to get into one clan, and I think you all know what that clan is

I wasn't saying that you were a hacker bro. I have no problem with you. Don't really agree with what happened, but it was your decision and above all else this is still a game.
