You can find your screenshots in your top Half-Life folder. It would be the one in the Sierra folder...or another way to think about it, the one right above the TFC folder.

I have demos to send out to everyone. I'm thinking 5 emails ought to do it.
So everyone who wants them send me a email at Roofcutter@hotmail.com
I'll make a mass mailing list and then send them out at intervals.
Make sure you put your GAME name / DEMOs in the subject line!

My ping wasn't 3000 the entire game...for some reason the last 3 minutes of the game I spent frozen by the respawn. I'd have to be awsome to get that score with that ping
Maybe we can try TV6 for the next one. It is the current cadilac of the fleet. I understood the lag on the grudge server but I've played with 22 on TV4 and never had lag like that. I'm wondering if friday is just a bad night for the internet in general ?
Either way I had fun. Thx Roof and the Team captains and EVERYONE who played through the lag. Thanks all. |

Friday night is a HORRIBLE night to play on if you have cable. The only way you'll get good ping is if you live in the middle of nowhere and have the cable line all to yourself. Pings can reach 400 because so many people are getting online at that time. I normally can't play until it's about midnight or so
I know that TV4 doesn't run on cable, but it could have been a minor cause of lag for those who do. |

That is why I have DSL. It is a dir con to the co, instead of shared bandwith.

DSL and cable are both very similar in that they can be affected by network traffic. True, a DSL connection is affected further up the pipe (from the telephone company to the internet) but both can be slowed down. A prime example is when a connection on the internet isn't good, no one, cable or dsl can reach it. High bandwidth usage times applies to every type of connection and will cause lag.

Maybe its just a little of it all, avanti is no easy map to generate, friday traffic nation wide, full server.
Maybe we will try a HUMP day game. Kind of break the week up. Munkey will be back soon and maybe he can shed some light on it.
i ever though to do a trace route till just now |

Both teams ranged from 5 to 22. Most were 15-18 hops not good, espc latency on the last 2,
