I Can't Get On IV For Match Because It's Full!!!!

The match starts in 5 minutes and the server is full.... Doh!!!! how could this happen?

I don't think roof kicked everyone off. There may be people on there that shouldn't be. Do you see anyone in that isn't on the official list?

I finally got in after the start time. The lag was AMAZING. I could not play. I would be running into an empty room only to see three enemies "appear" in front of my eyes. So much lag I lost my connection and I'm on cable! Wish I could have played. It would have been a real competition without all the lag.

Yes, the lag was bad...but my thought is, everyone had the same conditions. I had fun, and that's what it supposed to be about, fun not competition (or friendly competition...or something).

I could not have fun. I was denied because of lagWaht fun is spawn. .. lag. . . die. . .spawn. . .lag . . . .die. . .Thats what it was almost the entire time. It was pointless to even try and walk let alone fight! You guys put up with it but there wasn't much fighting. Just spam. . lag. . .spam. . .lag. . No fun at all.

The password was not set. Then all of were not kicked to enter the game via password. Not fun but I still loved the game.

I just dont know what to say about the lag we went to 4 where the computer is stronger.
The lag was just as bad as last time if not worse.
Eveyone did average the same though.

I will certainly see what can be done.

I'm really sorry for my troubles. I still dont know what happened. My config just blew up. I reinstalled it from a back up and it blew up. I could not enter info. Keys would not work. I'm going to have to deal with that now.

I used the wrong command for the password and could not get it working in time.

I learned a lot and I swear the next one will run smoother.

Roof, what your doing is wonderful. We all love you for it. It just happened to be one of the laggiest games I have ever played. I could barely walk around let alone try to fight. People were appearing and disappearing before my eyes. I can't fight changlings. Then I lost connection twice because of the lag and yes I am on cable. When we walked all over the opposing team the first attack it was because of the lag. When they walked all over us, it was because of the lag. It was just back and forth lag.

I am just upset that I never got a chance to actually play. It's my boohoo. You all carry on.

I've played on IV when it has been full, and never seen that kind of lag.

I haven't played Avanti that full though. Usually Avanti comes after Osaka, so 4 or so of us make it to the start of Avanti because no one else has Osaka.

Could it have something to do with the match?

KRG, I agree the defense would have been 10 times better on both sides if the lag was reasonable. Snipers on both sides would actually be able to shoot people with consistency. I also noticed people running by sg's with relative ease, does lag affect sg's? I figured that the sg would be on the server side, and unaffected by the lag. I killed you a couple of times while running to blow the church early, I can only imagine how hard it must have been trying to hit me with a grenade. Things may have been completely different if there wasn't killer lag. Oh well, there is always next time.

Bob, yeah you did get me. And don't get me wrong. I am not attacking anyone's skill. I am saying that no one could play their best in all that mess. Unfortunately I could not even play half-@ssed. As for killing with a GL grenade? Yeah it was almost impossible. Walking? Almost possible.
