Can't update server listings

I haven't been able to update my server listings lately, that hasn't been a problem beings I enjoy playing on the ville, but sometimes I would like to see what the rest of the world has to offer. So if there is any way for me to get half life to update my server listings, please tell me.

Personally, I think that Half Life server listing is as buggy as cheap hotel room in Florida. I downloaded the free Gamespy program. After a while of using it, I paid the $20 to keep it and not see advertisements. But at least its server listing seems stable. I would get the free version and try it. It won't cost anything if you hate it. I have also heard that GameTiger is good, but I've never used it.

Although, even with GameSpy I do still have trouble with server listings when my cable ISP provider has the network overloaded for my area. But no program is going to fix that for you, you just have to wait out the lag when that happens.

What gamespy software is the best, I think there is at least 2 different versions?

many servers are you refreshing at once?

I am not using gamespy yet, I am currently only using the ingame half life system.

When I got it there was only one. I think its called Arcade. I am not aware of any others.
Another thing I don't get about it is in the help chat areas some people get VIP status. I paid my $20 and I still don't have that. I don't know who's butt you have to kiss to get a question answered.

3D is actually better IMO, it allows you to see the servers IP's and make favorites and so forth Id actually recommend it over Arcade.
