Voice comm

I know my microphone is working because I use it with Roger Wilco or TeamSpeak. However, even though I've got a key bound for voice comm in TFC, I've got the impression nobody is hearing me. Is there something else to enable for it to work?

try the cmd "voice_loopback 1" so you can hear yourself, if you are making noise

My mike works fine and I just use the HL stuf.
Go to HL dir and find the voice tweek run it(looks like a speaker in the bottom right hand corner0, then go to you audio settings in Windows and turn up you mike volume,then go to customize in game activate the voice and turn up the settings for outgoing and incoming, also check the audio settings in config.Also wher you set you name and spray there are some settings.You also don't need roger wilco it actually screwed our mike up.

Are you running WinXP?... Ive talked to a lot of people that are having similar problems as you that are running XP. Other than that, make sure your mic is not muted ( I'm assuming thats not the case because it works fine with RW). Also, what kind of sound card do you have?.. if its not full duplex (ie. you stole it from your mom's p133 compaq) then it might be time to upgrade :-/.

Maybe that is my problem with my mic. It was fine before I installed WinXP. But, my fiance has XP also and his works great. Of course, maybe it is that he has an Audigy Platinum soundcard. hmmmmmm
