LOL, of course I am kidding. Well, I did get fired. But not for that. Here was the reason I got. "Trina, you just don't fit in."

No, I'm not bitter. Really, it is their loss. They lost the smartest, most talented employee they ever had!! hmpht!

But, damn, I could use a paycheck. I guess for now I'll just have to settle for a spy check.

If they really said that and used it as their basis for firing you, they're really setting themselves up for a discrimination lawsuit. Documented job performance issues are the only legitimate way to fire someone. If you're laid off, that's a different story.. at least there you can collect unemployment.

The bad thing is that this is a right-to-work state and you can be fired for anything. But, I do think I may have the discrimination angle I can go with.

I am really pi$$ed, because I had never been written up or anything of that nature.

The problem was that the other three women in the office are very subservient types. And I know you'll find this hard to believe, but I am not.

That place is a place where men are men and women are girls. Know what I mean? My direct boss was so upset that she was ordered to fire me that she was crying. Hell, I think she took it harder than I did. She felt it was wrong. Anyhow, every ending is in fact a new beginning, right?
