Bewarw of a new Virus via Email
The suspect e-mail may have a subject line of "Internet Security Update." The e-mail references a valid past Microsoft security bulletin and contains an executable named "q216309.exe" Running this executable spreads the virus via e-mail to everyone in your contacts list and leaves a Trojan on the infected machine enabling further unspecified hacker attacks.
Do not confuse this with a valid update that is available in Windows update for Win98 that references MS02-014 you should download the one from Microsoft if running WIN98

Not just exes. If you don't have file extensions enabled, they can have 2 extensions, and make themselves look just like .doc files, as well as .bmp and .gifs. Simply don't open anything that you don't know.
