I dont understand on DoD sometimes I can load and other times no way. Im thinking maybe some map did not get downloaded completly. When I do get on I have total lag, choppy picture and movement. I am thinking of uninstalling it then re-install but not sure if this will help or how to do it with-out losing everything.

I dont kknow Blue. I seem to have a stable game platform. I don't think this is a tougher game than Avanti video card wise.
Sometimes I have lag though. But not to bad.

Sometimes I cant get in either I have to exit and reenter to get in. kind of like the stuck in air of avanti when the map changes and you just hang there watching some action but cant play. Maybe Rob would know if DOD takes a bigger hit on your machine.

BR, of late, I've noticed that when I start a DoD game through the X-Plug, or if I have an X-plug window runnning at the same time, my DoD game gets incredibly choppy with my ping skyrocketing to 800+

It doesn't seem to do this as frequently with TFC games though, so you might want to close any instance of X-plug before getting onto a DoD game. I personally use X-plug to see who's online before closing out the window and joining the game via desktop shortcuts.

Thanks guys I tried to go in through desktop short cut ,not x-plug, and no sooner get my character picked and I get kicked right out back to desk top. Through x plug I did notice that my ping when from 1084 to 200.

Thanks Snaggle I will try to re-install and if that dosn't work I'll wait for 2.1

Earlier today you had a static ping of 4095, and everyone went sky high into the 1000's. Not sure why, you were on later with a decent enough ping. I think it has something to do with Avalanche. It's the only map I lag hardcore on. I know there is a 2.1 patch coming in the next few weeks that should clear up a ton of problems that every server all over the world is having right now. I guess I'd try to reinstall DoD and see if you have the same problems.

u may be cheating and running anti cheat programs like cheating-death. but i dont know u so i dont know if u r dumb enough to do that
