It took a little while to figure but its true. Whenever I access this forum I am unable to start any programs on my machine (TFC included of course) afterwards. An 'Out of Memory' message appears and Windows crashes.
Its definitely accessing this forum that does it and I wonder if its happened to anyone else.
I'm now off to reset my machine. Help!
Regards Yella

Never heard of such a problem with these forums Yella. Tell us more. What type of PC, operating system, version of IE, what else is running in the background, etc.

Thanks for your interest JD.
I run IE 5.5 on Win ME.
Its a Dell machine with a few bits running in the background that have never caused any other problems.
Occasionally this form I'm writing in now has locked up when I press submit and I don't know whether its related or not but I seem to have a very narrow incomplete frame at the bottom of this screen whenever I visit here. It only shows 2 (what looks like) icons of a cube with a yellow,red & blue side.
The source code for this apparently pointless frame is :
<html>
<head>
<title></title>
<style type="text/css">
a:link {text-decoration: none; color: 2A5A78}
a:visited {text-decoration: none; color: 2A5A78}
a:hover {text-decoration: underline; color: ffff00}
a:active {text-decoration: none; color: ffff00}
</style>
</head>
<body bgcolor="#400080" link="#ffffff" vlink="#ffffff" alink="#ffffff" text="#ffffff" leftmargin="0" topmargin="0" marginwidth="0" marginheight="0">
<table width="100%" cellpadding="0" cellspacing="0" border="0">
<tr><td valign=bottom><embed src="http://tfc.clarkgraphics.com/train.rpm" width=30 height=15 controls=StopButton autostart=true console=Clip1> <embed src="http://tfc.clarkgraphics.com/train.rpm" width=30 height=15 controls=PlayButton autostart=true console=Clip1></td></tr></table>
</body>
</html>
Probably irrelevant John but just in case. Any ideas??

That incompletete frame is where the Real Audio Player is. I would suggest downloading the latest Real Audio player to see if that fixes your problem.
Here is the link to there free player:

Speaking of problems with the forums, sometimes when i try to access the forums it causes my computer to shut down. No messages pop up or anything like that, my computer just shuts down and i have to restart it.
Does anyone know why this could be happening?

I dont know what the problem is but I do have several suggestions.
First, I assume your running antivirus software. Make sure the patterns are up to date and do a full system scan. If your not running antivirus software, get it now!!!
Next, goto Microsofts website at http://windowsupdate.microsoft.com and check that your system is running the latest updates and patches. If not, get them installed. (You can do everything at this one address)
Last, install at a minimum IE 5.5 SP1. You can get IE 5.2 SP2 and IE 6.0, but if you install either of those then you will not be able to see the current players anymore.
Also, ensure that IE 5.5 has all the latest Java Virtual Machine stuff installed.
Hope that helps.

Simply because I didn't have Real Player installed now I can run software after The Ville AND hear music in the site...
Top tip, install Real Player.
Thanks
