been playing on the ville for 2 1/2 years now...... wow its been fun

i remember playing under all sorts of names at an internet cafe in my town, before i got my comp. i think my very first name was unknown soldier, then i changed it when i got my pc to blitzkreig (mispelled lol), then to all american communist, then hot sauce taco bell (thats when i started playing on III)

wow im glad i found a home other wise i would have given up DoD long ago

i remember the first admin i ever met told me cussing was not allowed was squirel after that i helped enforce the rules..... wow long time and good times

I remeber the first time I played here was on a server called avantiville (I think). DoD was just starting and hadn't really taken hold yet. I played alot of HL Deathmatch after I completed the 1st original single player game. Then I moved on to TFC, then NeoTF (conc maps really developed my nade skills), then finally DoD. I spent COUNTLESS hours playing TFC. when I say countless, I mean mindnumbing hours here at the ville. I grew a fondness for the regs I saw everyday. They didn't know it but I paid them great respect. Guys like Bright Red Nipples, and tons of other guys who have moved on since (sadly). Back in the TFC days, things were different, it was more about team play. The maps demanded it, if you were an "every man for himself" team, you didn't stand a chance. The competition was feirce and the players were skilled with raw talent and natural gaming instincts. As DoD became more popular us TFC guys resisted and finally gave in when we saw the teamplay/skill level was even harder. Anyway, my personal thanx to the team that originally developed DoD...and thank you Simple and Stutter for keeping my gaming alive. If the Ville were to ever go own permanently, I would prolly quit gaming all together

The first time I have played in a online game was on theVille about three years ago. I remember that my first map was Flash and I was a allied. And at that time I was really a easy target, now things have change! lol

Long live theVille because the others servers doesn't compare to here!

lets see i was 20 when i started on the ville...and i';m going to be 24 soon so thats like what 1000 years right lol

i remember my first time on the ville....it was on TV3 and stutter wouldn't stop killing me so i made a note never to be on the other team lol.....now stutter still kills me but this time i just blow up randomly...i think he put a bomb in my shorts...that or i need to stop eating tacos
